Can you do a 1031 Exchange and use a self-directed ira?
I have a home that needs a lot of updating and it is in my self-directed ira
Charles, the only way you can use personal money to improve an IRA owned asset is to create a new entity that the IRA contributes the property to and you personally contribute the money, this is a legal partnership.
